V.O.I.C.E. Service Power: Create a Positive Impression in 8 Seconds Flat

 

You have eight seconds to create a positive customer impact in person and
also over the phone. Learn how to put this "window of impression" to work
for you by honing your voice as a business tool to facilitate a great patron
experience through a unique V.O.I.C.E. model and mapping strategy. Learn
techniques that deal with creating a believable presence and artfully
handling challenging patrons. This is a great workshop for new staff in need
of customer service training, or librarians who frequently conduct reference
interviews over the phone. Free to enhanced members of SERLS, $60 for all
other library staff. 

May 7th: 10:00- 4:00 at the Guernsey County District Public Library,
Crossroads Branch, Cambridge OH. 

May 8th: 9:30- 3:30 at the SERLS Headquarters, Wellston OH.
