[OPLINLIST] State Library of Ohio Announces Availability of LSTA Funds for Minigrants

The State Library of Ohio is pleased to announce the availability of
Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds for minigrant
proposals. Under the minigrant program, any type of library may apply
for funds in one of the following categories:  Innovative Technology;
Staff Development and Training; Services to Target Populations; and
Services to Youth.  

 

Additionally, a restricted grant category for Marketing and
Merchandising the Library, based on the Trading Spaces model, is
available to those libraries that attended one of the Trading Spaces
workshops held in Ohio or at PLA.  For additional information, please
contact the LSTA Office.

 

A maximum of $24,000 in federal funds may be requested.  A cash match of
25% of the total project amount is required.

 

Proposals are due at the State Library by 4:00 p.m. October 29, 2007.
Approved proposals will run from April 1, 2008 through August 31, 2008.
