Would you like a creative display for use in your library?  Check out the B.E.A.R.'s from Literacy United's Be Excited About Reading campaign.  Click on www.hagertys.org and click on 2007 to see this year's collection of bears and their books.  Local businesses and organizations have been busy naming and dressing their bears from award-winning books.  All the bears and their books will be auctioned off on Monday, March 5, 2007 at the Fifth Annual B.E.A.R. Family Event at 940 London Avenue in Marysville, OH at 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  What a wonderful opportunity to get something to add a spark to your library and support Literacy United, an organization helping people be ABLE to succeed.  But what if you can't be in Marysville that evening?  Literacy United is offering an opportunity for absentee bidding.   Minimum bid is twenty-five dollars.  You can either email your bid and contact information to literacy at co.union.oh.us  or call 937-666-2796 or 1-877-585-4833.  All absentee bids must be placed by noon of Monday, March 5.  Shipping will be at the bidder's expense or a bear can be held for pick-up.
