[OPLINLIST] Clerk-Treasurer position available

The Minerva Public Library seeks a Clerk-Treasurer to fill a position that
will become open due to a staff member's retirement.  

 

Principle Duties: Administers Library budget and manages Library accounting
and financial systems (2008 budget $970,000) using UAN accounting and
payroll software; manages payroll and benefits for 25 employees (17 FTE);
acts as Clerk to Library Board of Trustees.

 

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors degree in accounting or finance from
an accredited college or university, or three or more years progressively
more responsible accounting and budgeting experience, preferably with a
government fund accounting system, or any equivalent combination of
experience or training which provides the required knowledge, skills, or
abilities.  Meet requirements for adequate bonding.

 

Salary: negotiable based on experience and qualifications
