[OPLINLIST] Preparing seniors for emergencies

For those of you who missed the Visiting Nurse Association booth at
the OLC Expo last Friday, they have an interesting program called
Ready Seniors. The program is intended to help active Ohio seniors,
age 60+, prepare for emergency situations. They can go to
http://VNAReadySeniors.org to fill out an online survey and get a free
Ready Seniors Checklist to help them develop an emergency action plan
based on their individual needs and preferences. Libraries can also
download promotional materials from the site; click on "Resources for
those who work with seniors."
