Please excuse any duplication -- this message was posted to multiple lists.

Do you know any "digital teens" looking for an outlet to showcase their
creativity? Do you work with tweens, teens or older young adults who dream
of an advertising, film or television career? Can you encourage young
people in your community, library or workplace to take their shot at up to
ten minutes of fame?

If you or someone you know fits into any or all of these categories, please
encourage them to create a short animation, commercial, documentary, feature
film or music video as part of Stories on Film, the Teen Film and Video
Contest portion of the Southern Ohio Storytelling Music and Arts Festival.

Stories on Film is open to teens and young adults ages 12-23 and cash prizes
will be awarded for: Best in Show ($50.00) and First Place ($25.00) in three
divisions: Younger Teen (ages 12-15); Older Teen (ages 16-19); and Young
Adult (ages 20-23). All films must be 10 minutes or less in length and can
be posted online to YouTube for easier viewing.

The contest entry deadline is May 29, 2009 and an information flyer is
online at http://www.crcpl.org/2009filmcontest.pdf.

For full details and guidelines, feel free to download and print the
combined entry and permission form, http://www.crcpl.org/2009filmentry.pdf
or contact Jay Wise at the address, phone or email listed below.

Thanks and good luck to all who enter!
