Description: 

This online training is a series of four sessions held weekly from July 14th
through August 4th!

 

Now more than ever, it seems that most, if not all libraries are facing
difficult financial times because of cutbacks in funding from the "usual"
sources. The bottom line for libraries and other publicly funded
organizations is that it will be at least a few years before our funding
sources are likely to stabilize. Funding for our libraries is still a hot
topic of conversation nationally, as well as locally as libraries look for
different sources of funding to support their operations, collections and
projects. This series of Webinars will provide students with a comprehensive
approach to raising funds for their libraries by means of a variety of
fundraising revenue stream programs.

 

Webinar Goal and Objectives:

 

The goal of this course is 4-fold: to teach you the fundraising
opportunities that are available to libraries and their supporting groups;
to show you how to develop and build your fundraising team; to help you
build relationships with your donors; and to help you write your fundraising
strategy for the future.
