Now that the State of Ohio is heading into a continuing budget and
postponing the start of the next fiscal year, some of you may be wondering
what will happen to the previously announced changes to the Ohio Web
Library databases.

As announced, Consumer Health Complete will be gone on Wednesday. (For
users of www.ohioweblibrary.org, we have added access to Medline Plus.)

NoveList will continue for another month at EBSCO's request so they can
transition to individual access for libraries that are picking it up; it
will be gone after July 31.

Regarding newspapers, NewsBank has agreed to switch our content to four
major statewide newspapers -- the Columbus Dispatch, the Cleveland Plain
Dealer, the Toledo Blade, and the Dayton Daily News (as well as archives
of the Cincinnati Post) -- on July 1, as previously announced. If budget
developments as we move into July reduce the OPLIN budget to the point
where we cannot afford this newspaper package, then it will be
discontinued.

If you have questions about the databases, please do not hesitate to
contact me or http://support.oplin.org. If you have questions about the
budget, you're not alone!
