Make reservations now for Homecoming 2009!

Homecoming is Saturday, Oct. 10! With Kent State's Centennial in 2010 just around the corner, you will not want to miss Homecoming 2009. Kick off a year of Centennial celebration with a variety of fun-filled [cid:image001.jpg at 01CA36B3.DF3FD9B0] activities planned for alumni, friends and family - including the Kent State Homecoming parade.

All Homecoming activities in each of the College of Communication and Information (CCI) schools (Communication Studies, Library and Information Science, Journalism and Mass Communication and Visual Communication Design) are open to all CCI faculty, staff, friends, family and alumni. Reservations are needed for all events, even free events!
Saturday, Oct. 10
10 a.m. Homecoming Parade; School of Journalism and Mass Communication will host a parade tent on Main Street with coffee and muffins for all CCI Kent State schools. Staff, faculty, alumni, friends and families are invited. FREE!
11:30 a.m.
JMC - Open to all CCI schools! Mini-brunch and media scavenger hunt hosted by Friends of JMC, PRSSA Silent Auction, Tours of Franklin Hall, Meet and Greet with the Taylor Winner. FREE!
SLIS - Reception in the Reinberger Children's Library Center and Marantz Picturebook Collection rooms on the third floor of the library. FREE!
1:30 p.m. Tailgate Party
School of Library and Information Science will host a picnic at the Dix Stadium southeast patio; Game ticket and picnic meal $20 per person; Giveaways, raffles, etc.
3:30 p.m. Televised game kick-off: Kent State Golden Flashes vs. Bowling Green Falcons
