[OPLINLIST] Storytimes on Multicultural/Lesser Known Holidays...

Hello, OPLIN listers and Pubyaccers!

I am working on a new project:  a book on holiday storytimes.  Of course, there 
is a bunch of information out there on all of the major holidays, but this book 
is going to include many holidays that many of us small libraries have never 
done before.

If you do or have any ideas on original fingerplays, activities, music, books, 
etc. for any of the following holidays, I would love to include it in the book.  
I could send along a permission form for you to fill  out and return to me for 
the use of such materials.  


Here are the specific holidays that I'd like feedback on:

Arbor Day/Earth Day
Chinese New Year
Cinco de Mayo
Diwali/Divali
Hanukkah
Kwanzaa
Martin Luther King Day
May Day
Rosh Hashannah/Yom Kippur
Veteran's Day
Memorial Day
Ramadan
