The E-Rate Form 470 workshop for libraries was held Monday November 8.
The workshop was presented by Lorrie Germann and Michael Edwards from
eTech Ohio.  The PowerPoints and other handouts have now been post on
WebJunction Ohio at:
http://oh.webjunction.org/oherate/-/resources/bparticles.  Librarians
should pay particular attention to the document "2010 eRate Training -
Preparing for FY2011".  This document discusses the 6th Report and Order
and the revised FCC Forms 470 and 471.  

 

The Form 471 workshop is currently scheduled for December 16, 2010.
However, depending upon when the new Form 470 is released that workshop
may be rescheduled for January 10, 2011.  If you have already
registered, you will be notified via email if the workshop date is
changed.  If you have not registered for the Form 471 workshop you can
do so at:  http://www.library.ohio.gov/event
