Registration is open for NEO Regional Library System & Kent State University's School of Library and Information Science's
Summer Reading Workshop to be held on December 6, 2010.

THEME: ONE WORLD, MANY STORIES

Come for ideas related to the state/national theme! For the first year ever, we
are excited to be partnering with Kent State’s School of Library and Information
Science – it is a great way to introduce summer reading programs to future
children’s librarians!

Date: December 6, 2010.

Location: Kent State University-Main Campus
Student Center Room 306 A & B
Risman Drive
Kent OH, 44242

We will have short talks and handouts related to “School Visits” and “Going on
an Adventure”; and Art; Celebrations; Games; Food, Crafts; and Stories and
Folktales Around the World.

Please Note: This workshop is to assist librarians planning summer reading
programs for preschool children up to and including elementary-aged children. WE
WILL NOT BE PROVIDING IDEAS FOR TEENS! For planning for teens, we hope to
announce CE this fall that will be occurring in February.
