[OPLINLIST] Change to the OPLIN listservs

All,

     You'll notice that when replying to list postings, the default 
reply address will be changed to the domain "lists.oplin.org". This new 
domain is the result of some prep work for the decoupling of the 
listservs from the main mail system, as we deploy the new OPLIN mail 
system over the coming weeks. The official domain you will want to use 
for posting to all listservs will be the lists.oplin.org domain (ex. 
oplinlist at lists.oplin.org), but measures are being taken to keep the old 
addresses working.

I thought that this might be a good time to get some input on other 
softwares besides Mailman you might like to see OPLIN use. Having the 
lists on it's own server makes it easier to make sweeping changes to 
functionality, and in a perfect world I'd like to find an open source 
product that would retain all the listserv functionality, while also 
making the discussion threads available in a forum interface, and 
providing a data store to house community collaborated white papers and 
group projects.

Any thoughts, direction, or experiences would be much appreciated.
