Ready to Read Training on October 13 in Westerville

The Ohio Ready to Read initiative <http://www.ohreadytoread.org/>
(www.ohreadytoread.org <http://www.ohreadytoread.org/> ) trains librarians
and early childhood educators in the use of Ready to Read methods to train
parents of children ages birth to five years old. The Fun Facts Early
<http://www.olc.org/WorkshopDescription.asp?ID=504>  Literacy Training on
Oct. 13 at the Westerville Public Library in the Columbus area will help
participants build a firm foundation in early literacy and offer storytimes
that incorporate the six pre-reading skills. Speaker Marisa Glaviano, Youth
Librarian at the Westerville Public Library, will help attendees develop
systems to work with parents and community partners to expand the Ready to
Read message. Check out the OLC website
