>Helping Customers with Legal Reference Webinar<

OLC and Ohio Legal Assistance Foundation (OLAF) will again this year provide
FREE online training sessions so that library staff can learn more about the
Ohio Legal Services (OLS) website.

Cynthia Vaughn, Statewide Technology Project Manager, OLAF, will teach you
how to use the OLS website as an online tool to assist customers in finding
their local civil legal aid program as well as provide basic legal education
about a variety of topics including bankruptcy, child custody, divorce,
foreclosure and utilities, etc.

>Serving the Seasoned: Engaging Older Adults Webinar<

Date:  7/27/2011
Time:  1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

This one-hour webinar will feature tips to help libraries engage seasoned
members of their communities from the first of the baby boomers through the
WWII generation. Serving the Seasoned will explore community partnerships
and examples for programming for participants who remember party lines,
black and white TV on three channels, and $.30 gasoline.

>Library Fiscal Officer 101 Workshop<

Summary:
This training is an excellent educational opportunity for new fiscal
officers, deputy fiscal officers, new directors, or anyone who needs to
refresh their library accounting skills. The training will feature sessions
on board relations, payroll, accounts payable, and the library fiscal
calendar along with plenty of question and answer time.

Members of the OLC Library Accounting Division Action Council will be on
hand to review your responsibilities and discuss a wide variety of topics.
