[OPLINLIST] Local history equipment grants

Brian, please look into a LSTA grant.  I got a price of $13,969 for a
reader/printer/scanner
from micrographic solution for a ScanPro200 Base unit with zoom lense film
carrier and extended warranty and ground shipping.  Their websiteis:

LSTA requires a 25% match.  Go to Ohio Webjunction:
http://library.ohio.gov/lpd/lsta/ for information on the deadlines etc.  If
they do not fund that kind of equipment try
www.praxair.com  They have a library computer donation program.  We go
$20,000 for
library computers from them this year.  The ScanPro reader/printer/scanner
must be attached to a library computer.  Praxair has a online form to fill
out.  Most grants require that either the library or the Friends of the
Library have a 501 (c) 3 status to receive grant monies.  I applied using
