[OPLINLIST] Important Statewide Delivery Update on transition from U.S. Cargo to Priority Dispatch

As a reminder, the last day of pickup and delivery by U.S. Cargo, is
Friday, April 13, or your library's last day of scheduled service that
week.  The first day of pickup and delivery by the new vendor, Priority
Dispatch, is Monday April 16, or your library's first day of scheduled
service that week.

 

The new required delivery labels for shipping items via Priority
Dispatch are now available on the State Library Statewide Delivery Page:
http://library.ohio.gov/facilities/delivery/   

It's important to begin printing the new delivery labels and preparing
your location for Priority Dispatch as soon as possible. 

 

Please note: 

*        There is a new option available to print to "ALL" - (to print
entire set of new labels) 

*        For best formatting results, set your browser margins to .25"

*        Please remember to update your bookmarks or favorites hyperlink
to this page: http://www.library.ohio.gov/Facilities/Delivery 

 

 Special Request: Priority Dispatch will be collecting bags and totes
from the old vendor, U.S. Cargo., on April 13 and the weekend of April
14 and 15.  The bags and totes that are obtained by Priority Dispatch
from U.S. Cargo will still have the U.S. Cargo delivery labels.
Priority Dispatch is seeking every library's assistance in placing the
new shipping labels on all outgoing bags and totes on Friday, April 13
or whatever a library's last day of scheduled service is that week.  Any
bags or totes that can be labeled on the last pickup day with the new
delivery labels will greatly speed up the process in getting these items
routed to their proper destination.  Any assistance that is possible in
this process is greatly appreciated.  

 

 

Again, to help explain this special request, the first day of usage of
the new delivery labels is Friday April 13, or your library's last day
of scheduled service that week.  

 

In anticipation of a possible question, the answer is yes, this does
mean that on a library's last day of service by U.S. Cargo during that
week, U.S. Cargo will be picking up bags and totes with Priority
Dispatch's labels.
