The Board of Trustees of the Ada Public Library is seeking a dynamic and strong leader to become its next director.  The position requires an accredited MLS/MLIS degree.  Essential duties include establishing library priorities, procedures, and general practices; preparing and maintaining the annual budget; directing the expenditures of funds and allocation of Library resources; and cultivating relationships with community leaders and groups. The ideal candidate will have a vision for the library in the short and long term, will be service-oriented and possess prior management experience as well as technology skills. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, insurance, and retirement through the Ohio Public Employee Retirement System.
