[OPLINLIST] Author Karen Harper to Visit the Tuscarawas County Public Library on May 17

New York Times best-selling novelist Karen Harper will be visiting the New
Philadelphia location of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System on
Thursday, May 17th at 7PM. Her visit marks the first installment in the
library's 2012 Author Series.

 

Harper is the author of over 50 novels, including The Last Boleyn (2006),
Mistress Shakespeare (2010), and the recent Return to Grace (2012), which is
the second installment in the popular Home Valley Amish series. Her
collection of work includes 12 romantic suspense novels, two historical
novels, and a series of mysteries set in Ohio Amish country.

 

Two additional novels, Shaker Run (Severn House Publishers) and Mistress of
Mourning (Penguin Publishing), are scheduled for release in July.

 

Harper is a graduate of Ohio University and earned her Master of Arts in
English with a specialty in early English literature from the Ohio State
University. She taught English at Whetstone High School in Columbus and was
the English department chair at Westervillle North High School for ten years
before turning to writing full time in 1984. Her husband, Don Harper, was a
former educator and principal within Indian Valley Local Schools.

 

The author will sign copies of her best-known works, which will be available
for purchase, after the program concludes.

 

Admission to the event is free. Registration is required by calling
330-364-4474 ext. 101.

 

The New Philadelphia location of the Tuscarawas County Public Library System
is located at 121 Fair Avenue NW.
