[OPLINLIST] Choose to Read Ohio LSTA grant update

One of the objectives of the new LSTA Five Year Plan 2013-2017 is to
review and revise all LSTA grant categories and the sub-award process.
Staff have begun a timeline to review grant programs over the next year.
The Choose to Read Ohio grants are the first to be evaluated.  The CTRO
program is moving forward with the 2013 and 2014 booklist,  The 2013 and
2014 titles are listed here: http://library.ohio.gov/blog/?p=2751.  For
the LSTA  CTRO grants, funding for the 2011 and 2012 titles is no longer
available; the next round of grants would have been for the 2013 and
2014 titles.  State Library staff believe that the shift to the new
title list is a logical time to suspend the CTRO grants while the
process is reviewed and the impact of the grants is evaluated.  We hope
you will continue to use the CTRO titles and toolkits in your
programming.  Toolkits for the 2013 and 2014 titles will be completed
and posted in fall 2012.  Questions regarding LSTA should be addressed
