Therein lies the value of these discussions and getting multiple points of view.  

And of course the reality is that there is no 100% perfect solution to various issues when allowing the public to use public computers, just what turns out to be the best solution for your system.

Glad to hear it was a false notice.

How would they, however, go after a public library since it could literally be anyone? Would they still hold the library financially liable or are there some kind of caveats for libraries and employers where employees are using work computers for illegal downloads?
