*Please excuse any cross-postings.*

Could you or your staff use a cataloging refresher? Check out OHIONET’s
on-going series, the Fundamentals of Cataloging. Whether you attend all
the sessions or only the ones of interest, you’ll get a comfortable,
HANDS-ON experience with plenty of opportunities for individual questions
and practice time.

There are a few seats left for our next scheduled session, on May 21st,
which will cover the theories behind the classification schemes (both Dewey
Decimal and Library of Congress) used by most academic and public
libraries. Participants will learn how these classifications are used for
organization and access to materials.

*Remember that OHIONET training opportunities are free to employees of
premium member institutions*.

*Fundamentals of Cataloging*
*When*: Monday, May 21st 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM
*Where*: OHIONET, 1500 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43221
