Hello All:
After much deliberation over the past few years, I have decided to cease
publication of the *Rural Library Services Newsletter*. The final issue
will be a double issue that will come out in December 2012. I have been the
editor of the newsletter for over twenty years and this project has been a
passion of mine.

I am opening up the opportunity for you to be a part of this final issue.
If you have something to share with rural libraries, tips, visions,
how-tos, etc., send them to me and I will see if I can fit them in the
final issue. Your info might be tips for storytimes, displays, marketing,
fun things for staff and patrons, etc. If your piece is selected you will
receive a byline as well as a free online copy of the final issue.

Thank you to Ohio's library staff for inspiring me to keep this project
going over the past twenty years. I am energized by you all.
