[OPLINLIST] Favorite Science Books for 2nd Graders

Hi everyone,

I'm on an INFOhio eBook selection committee that is in the process of working on a statewide grant related to Common Core's 3rd Grade Reading Guarantee.  We'd really appreciate some input from some knowledgeable educators and librarians on this listserv to get us moving in the right direction.  

That being said, what are your favorite science related book selections for 2nd graders (popular picks at your library will work too).   Title and author would be great.
