"RDA is coming!  RDA is coming!"  We've been hearing the cries for years,
but the changeover is finally upon us.  OHIONET is pleased to announce our
first hands-on, in-person workshop on the topic, “RDA for Copy

Join our veteran cataloging instructor, Roman Panchyshyn, as he presents a
basic introduction to copy cataloging in RDA for monographs and serials.
Since many libraries have already converted their cataloging to RDA, and
the Library of Congress plans to fully convert by March 31, 2013, copy
catalogers need to have a basic familiarity with the major differences
between AACR2 and RDA. They must also be aware of local system issues RDA
may have on their library’s catalog, and its impact on our users.
