This guide has been prepared to provide archivists, researchers, and the
general public with a finding aid for the extensive holdings at the Harding
Museum which deal with the 1913 Flood in Franklin, Ohio. These includes
original photographs, news-paper accounts of the flood, an original letter
by an eyewitness to the event, and transcripts and original tapes of oral
interviews with relatives of flood survivors all of which have been
ar-ranged according to the principles of provenance, that is, records are
kept according to their sources.
