[OPLINLIST] 2013 Ohio SRP evaluation

Just a reminder for those libraries whose summer reading programs are already completed or wrapping up soon.

The 2013 Ohio Summer Reading Program evaluation is now open at:

The State Library asks all Ohio public libraries to report on their summer reading programs at program's end.  The information you will provide is of great value.  Your participation will help the State Library, Regional Library Systems, cooperating state agencies, and the Collaborative Summer Library Program to provide helpful resources and support for future SRPs, and to communicate the breadth of participation in library SRPs statewide.

This evaluation survey asks you to submit these numbers (as applicable):

*        Children, teens, and adults who registered for your SRP

*        Children, teens, and adults who completed your SRP (if you set a completion goal)

*        Attendance at SRP-related programming for children, teens, adults, and all-ages

*        State Fair coupons and/or State Parks certificates distributed

The evaluation survey also includes questions on your SRP tracking method, themes used, and plans for 2014.  It gives you the opportunity to provide feedback on SRP resources provided by CSLP, Upstart, the State Library, state agencies, and Regional Library Systems, and to make suggestions for improved or new services.  The survey is shorter than last year's, and can take you just a couple minutes if you have your numbers at hand (longer if you have extensive feedback to share).

Please complete this evaluation at the end of your library's SRP and no later than September 13.

This evaluation is for all Ohio public libraries that offer a summer reading program, regardless of the theme used or age group(s) served.

Thank you in advance for collecting your data and completing the survey. Summer reading is a proven and very significant factor in student success.  Your information helps us demonstrate the amount of summer reading activity in Ohio's libraries, and helps us continue to improve our services.
