Introductory Information: 
The Louisville Public Library in Ohio (www.louisvillelibrary.org/) seeks an innovative and resourceful community oriented leader to succeed their retiring director. Situated an hour south of Cleveland, 30 minutes from Akron and just 10 minutes from Canton, Louisville offers a high quality of life in a safe, affordable, and expanding community with a wide variety of housing options from urban to rural. It is close to some of the best cultural, educational, sports and recreational areas in the Midwest. 
Responsibilities: 
The successful candidate will manage an $800,000 budget, and a staff of twenty. Primary challenges will be to lead, innovate and maintain the library's funding, and to fundraise to build a new combined library/community center. As Director, you will be a highly visible leader in both the library and the community. This is an ideal position for an innovator! 
Qualifications: 
Qualified applicants will have relevant library achievements and an MLS or equivalent. 
Salary and Benefits: 
Salary range $60,000 to $75,000 based upon experience. Excellent benefits.
