The Lepper Library of Lisbon, Ohio is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic individual with supervisory and fiscal experience to serve as Library Director.  The library is located in Columbiana County and serves the historic village of Lisbon and surrounding communities.  Lepper Library is an association library which has an annual budget of approximately $440,000 and serves 12,000 registered patrons.  

The director will assume responsibilities to include managing library facilities, preparing budgets, overseeing an experienced staff, selecting library resources, and serving as an advocate and community liaison.     

A Masters Degree in Library Science (MLS) is preferred.  The Board of Trustees is interested in a candidate who has proven success in supervision and administration, including a strong fiscal background.  The ideal candidate will likewise possess the creativity and communication skills necessary to develop programs and partnerships which will further enhance the role of the library in the community.

Salary will range between $40,000 and $50,000, and will be based upon education and experience.  Health insurance is provided.  Retirement benefits are through Ohio Public Employees Retirement System (OPERS).

The director’s position will be open due to a February 28, 2015 retirement.
