[OPLINLIST] DVD protectors

More and more of our DVDs are coming back scratched and cracked, even the new ones that are going out for the first time.  Is there any thing that libraries are using (that works) to protect your DVDs. And what is your procedure when they are returned, do you clean them before going back out.
