[OPLINLIST] Book Return Disposal?

You don't get as much for ferrous metals as you would for the more
desirable non-ferrous metals, but a bookdrop (especially stand-alone) would
probably still be enough to attract the attention of a scrapper. If you
just want it gone, you could stick a sign on it saying "free" or "free for
recycling" or some such and a patron may soon grab it.

I tend to toss my own scrap in a pile in my barn and when the pile starts
to get in my way, I put a sign out by the road saying free scrap metal.
It's usually gone by the end of the day.
