The State Library will be hosting an important Ohio Means Jobs training session on September 29 at 10:00 a .m. in Conference Room D.

Ohiomeansjobs.com is the state's official online employment, education, and career services center. Ohio Means Jobs is the one-stop shop for your patrons to find LearningExpress Library and many, many more employment and student resources. It has job and scholarship searching, GED preparation assistance, and ~required~ unemployment activities.

The September 29th training session will be tailored to public librarians and should last about an hour or a little longer, depending on the number of questions. Learn to help your community members navigate and use the many employment and career resources available at ohiomeanjobs.com. The session will include information on where to find the LearningExpress Library resources that have been used most often in public libraries.

At this time, this is the only scheduled Ohio Means Jobs training session, and it will not be live-streamed over the Internet.

Register for the September 29 session at the State Library (274 E. 1st Avenue) at https://library.ohio.gov/ohio-means-jobs-presentation-public-libraries.
