Hello all:
I thought I'd share an e-mail I sent out to my team this morning.
Back-story: Our DVD limits has been raised to 5 per card (in good standing)
beginning today, April 1st. It took a while for me to research, interview
team members, patrons, etc. to come up with this new limit. So, here is
what I sent them this morning:

SHARE WITH YOUR TEAM. URGENT!!! I have changed my mind and I am not
allowing five DVDs to be borrowed per card. I have decided to reduce that
number to 1 per card or 3 per household, whichever is less. Unless the
household is shared by different generations and then it is 2 per card with
a limit of 5 per household. The exception will be if an unrelated persons
live in the same structure. Then, the limit is 1 per card, 3 per family and
3 per other person living in the home who is not a family member, but a
family unto themselves. Note: The card holder must be over the age of 17
and under the age of 18 and must have limited use of their toes. If the
patron does not meet these requirements, then all this is moot and they can
borrow five DVDs on their card. Happy April Fools.

LOL. One team member e-mailed me and said she was checking out 5 DVDs to a
patron and trying to read this "Urgent" e-mail from me. She was wearing her
"Fitbit" and saw her heart rate jump, so she read to the end. I guess I
have to be careful when planning my April Fools pranks. Love to hear yours!
Susan
