Good morning!

As you are all aware librarians touch the lives of the people they serve every day.  This year, New York Public Library is joining Carnegie Corporation of New York, The New York Times and ALA in asking members of the public to nominate their librarian for the 2015 I Love My Librarian Award!

10 librarians will receive a $5,000 cash award, a plaque and a travel stipend to attend the awards ceremony and reception in New York City, hosted by Carnegie Corporation of New York.

Nominations open through September 28, providing additional time for school and academic librarians whose institutions will just be getting back in session.
