[OPLINLIST] Deadline Extended….Apply NOW for Library Leadership Ohio

[cid:image002.jpg at 01D1374F.A38FCF30]The deadline for Library Leadership Ohio 2016 has been extended.  Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. January 3, 2016.  If your New Year’s Resolution is to define and develop your leadership skills and potential, then make sure you take advantage of Library Leadership Ohio and apply today.

LLO 2016 will be held at the Holiday Inn Worthington, beginning the evening of July 19, 2016 and concluding at noon July 22.  Tuition for LLO 2016 is $500. The event will once again be facilitated by Ivy Library from Charlottesville, VA.  Ivy Library<http://www.ivylibrary.com/> has over 20 years of experience with academic, public, school and special libraries.

32 individuals will be selected to attend LLO 2016.  LLO 2016 targets both support and professional library employees working in public, school, special, and academic libraries and all are eligible to apply. The selection committee is seeking applications from individuals that demonstrate the following:

·        Outstanding leadership potential

·        Excellent communication skills

·        Successful library employment experience

·        Initiative, commitment and reasonable risk taking

·        Forward-thinking approach to problem solving

·        A commitment to the profession

Library Leadership Ohio is a collaborative event of the State Library of Ohio and OhioNET.
