Ellie not only specializes in preservation of historical books, but also teaches classes.  I have toured her shop.  She is very good and used by many archivists in Northeast Ohio.

Charles works with books and archival materials in all sizes.  He visited me on site in the past and conducted a free survey of materials so I knew what was in the most need of conservation and provided me with strategies for preserving other items in-house.  He is very money conscious and creates nice products.

This company creates book bindings that are of good quality.  I have not seen their restoration services, but was pleased with the work I have seen on books.

Our library is looking for a good bindery that would be able to handle traditional books plus oversize and specialty items like old maps or other documents that might need special treatment, or are of an unusual size.
