Are you interested in learning more about the Ohio History Connection's History Fund, the competitive matching grants program funded by Ohioans through the "tax check-off" on the Ohio state income tax return? Several webinars will be offered over the summer reviewing the application process & requirements, as well as two specialty webinars on how to write grant proposals for digitization projects.

History Fund Help Webinars, June 24, July 14 & August 6, 1-3pm
We will walk you through the application process, offer tips to make the process go smoothly and answer your questions. Applicants are not required to attend, but it might give you a "leg up" on your application.

Nuts and Bolts of Digitization for History Fund Applicants, July 9 & 13, 1-3pm
Planning a History Fund grant proposal to digitize materials in your collection? Attend this webinar to learn how to strengthen your grant application and improve your project's chances of being funded, including how to incorporate the details reviewers are looking for. Using real-life examples, presenters will discuss standards and best practices, the importance of a well-defined project, and how to address long-term access and preservation. Tips offered in this webinar are aimed at organizations without an extensive background in digitization projects, but will also serve as a refresher for those with more practical experience.
