There are still registration slots open for this terrific conference, a wonderful opportunity for librarians and children's specialists who work with and care about young children.  The conference organizers indicate they also have room for the public when Walter Wick speaks during the afternoon keynote.  So if you can't attend, maybe parents, teachers, or other library patrons would like to see him.  Pass the word!

Play to Learn, Learn to Play is a conference about the value of play in early childhood development, focusing on the latest trends in learning.   It's designed for teachers, librarians, toy librarians, parents and others working with children of varying talents and abilities.  Keynote speakers Dr. Thea Wilson and author/illustrator Walter Wick will join experts and advocates from the universe of play and learning.  Registration is only $65 and includes breakfast, lunch and materials.
