OhioNET’s long-running series, Fundamentals of Cataloging, continues with our Serials Sessions.  Focusing on key issues, MARC fields, and bibliographic elements you need to consider when it comes to cataloging any kind of periodical resource, our material is again targeted at folks who primarily find and edit existing records.  So, if you’re new to serials cataloging or could use an RDA-friendly refresher, this material provides a solid introduction to what you need to know to work with both physical and electronic formats of serial resources.

To fit with your schedule and learning preferences, we’re pleased to offer this material in two formats.  Click the links listed below for more information and registration options for each sessions.

In-Person
If you think you might benefit from some hands-on time in a small-group, face-to-face setting to increase your comfort with common serials copy cataloging tasks, then sign up today.  Space is limited.

Web-Based
If online learning is your best option, we offer the same content in a convenient web-based format that allows you to learn right from your desk.  Each two-hour webinar in the series features real-time quizzes, practice time, and other interactive tools.  All registrants for each session will receive a link to an archived recording of the webinar within 24-hours of broadcast.
