Good afternoon,

Share the magic of storytelling and win 100,000 Books for Ohio!  First Book and Disney are sponsoring a contest for three US states to win special donations of new books.  Books will be donated directly to organizations in the winning states that are registered members of First Book, and meet First Book's eligibility criteria for classrooms and programs serving children in need. Anyone may cast votes for their desired state through March 31, 2016.  Anyone may vote as many times as s/he wishes.  Let's bring in the vote for Ohio!

The Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives have kindly made available all the presentations from a recent Kentucky Summer Programming & Outreach Conference:

You will find ideas for children's, teen, adult, and family services and programming; bookmobile and outreach services, and more.

The youth services consultant from KDLA says she was particularly impressed with the adult programming presentations.  It can be relatively challenging to find good sources for SRP idea-sharing and planning tools for adult services, so I hope these presentations will be of interest.
