The Plain City Public Library is seeking a full-time Technology Services Manager that is enthusiastic about public library service and understands the importance of libraries within the communities they serve.  In addition to overseeing the installation and maintenance of library software, hardware and networks, the Technology Services Manager will assist with recommending and creating the technological infrastructure for new programs and services; representing the library within various communities and professional organizations.

High school diploma or GED with significant experience in network and software configuration required.  Post-secondary education in network administration or related field is required.  Must have experience with hardware maintenance and installation.  Must be able to communicate effectively with library staff and patrons.  Knowledge of standard library procedures is preferred.  Experience working with public libraries and/or post-secondary education in library science or related field would be preferred.
