MASSILLON PUBLIC LIBRARY PRESENTS AUTHOR VISIT WITH LINDA CASTILLO

On Thursday, November 3, at 6:30 p.m., the Massillon Public Library invites readers to attend an author visit with Linda Castillo, writer of Amish thrillers. Ms. Castillo will discuss her newest book Among the Wicked.
Chief of Police Kate Burkholder is called upon by the sheriff's department in rural, upstate New York to assist on a developing situation that involves a reclusive Amish settlement and the death of a young girl. Unable to penetrate the wall of silence between the Amish and "English" communities, the sheriff asks Kate to travel to New York, pose as an Amish woman, and infiltrate the community.
Castillo, the author of thirty novels, is originally from Ohio where her Amish suspense novels are set. She is the recipient of numerous industry awards, including the Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence, the Holt Medallion, the Golden Heart, and a nomination for the prestigious Rita. Her Amish thrillers routinely appear on the New York Times bestseller list.
This event is free and open to the public. Copies of Among the Wicked will be available for sale the night of the program. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling the library's Reference Desk 330-832-9831, ext. 312.
The Massillon Public Library is located at 208 Lincoln Way East. The Second Street entrance is handicapped accessible.
