Hello everyone!

I hope you're all having fabulous Fridays. I've tentatively booked the
Hillbilly Silly Science Spectacular for our Summer Reading Program this
June. He'll be here in Shelby on June 29 for a 6:00 show at Marvin Memorial
Library. If anyone else would like to have him during that week, it would
keep the mileage costs low for everyone. I've included the original email
with information about his show.

months!***

Yes, that's right - the Wisconsin based Hillbilly Silly Science Spectacular
comedy/science show is planning a single week to FINALLY come out and visit
our friends in Ohio!  This makes for your library's perfect opportunity to
host the show and bring it in for your community's Summer Reading Programs!

The Hillbilly Silly Science Spectacular show has been a HIT in the
Performing Art Center circuits, and has also developed a smaller version of
the show - PERFECT for library programming!  As you can imagine, this crazy
show features a zany hillbilly character who takes the staging area and
presents his homemade science experiments for the enjoyment of the crowd.
Audience members will assist in experiments that range from cannons,
volcanoes, optical illusions, and so much more!  It is a guaranteed
crowd-pleaser, and has a proven track record of being one of the most
popular and well received science shows in the Midwest.  Plans are to bring
the show to Ohio the last full week of June, 2017, and add a new science
education feature to multiple libraries' reading programs!  The show is
PERFECT for kids in the 4-13 age brackets!

We are planning a mini tour through Ohio (hopefully) that week if enough
interest is made in the show by multiple libraries.  Fees charged are $295
per show, plus a fair split of the mileage fee between all of the libraries
interested in booking the act!  Any meals and motels are covered out of the
scientist's own pockets!
