The Athens County Public Libraries seek a full time (35 hours per week)
manager for the Nelsonville Library, located at 95 W. Washington St. in
Nelsonville. This position is responsible for library services delivered to
patrons at the Nelsonville Library; including scheduling, supervision, and
evaluation of library staff; planning and booking library programs based on
patron and staff input; and formulating goals and objectives for the
Nelsonville library within the scope of system policies. Candidates must
have a college degree at the bachelor’s level or equivalent library
experience, and 2 years of professional experience in a library or
education setting. Candidates holding an MLIS degree from an ALA-accredited
institution are preferred. Salary begins at $17.00 per hour depending on
