[OPLINLIST] Ideas sought for upcoming CSLP summer program themes - Jan. 11 deadline

Good morning,

It's that time of year... when the Collaborative Summer Library Program looks for the best of the best general themes for future summer library programs.

This year CSLP is asking for your suggestions for the 2021 and 2022 program years. Contracting with illustrators further out into the future allows them more time to fit CSLP into their schedule, and increases CSLP's ability to work with the artists that its members suggest. It also aligns theme suggestions with the strengths of the illustrators, and provides more flexibility with integrating their art into the manual production process. This ultimately provides CSLP the opportunity to provide more products with its artwork, and to supply all its summer reading promotional materials to libraries in a more reasonable time frame.

Suggest the themes you'd like to have for upcoming SLP/SRPs! Complete the survey here to suggest up to 3 general themes:

Multiple staff members from your library may respond to this survey. Each respondent should complete the survey separately.
The deadline to submit theme suggestions is end of the day Thursday, January 11. I will compile the suggestions from Ohio librarians and submit to CSLP.

2013 Underground
2014 Science
2015 Heroes/Superheroes
2016 Exercise/Sports/Health/Wellness
2017 Architecture/Construction/Building a better world
2018 Music

2020 World mythology/fairy tales/folklore
