The Ohio State Fair partners with the State Library of Ohio to support Ohio public libraries' Summer Library/Reading Programs, by providing a $4 discount coupon for State Fair admission for SLP/SRP participants ages 5-14.

This coupon is now available for download for your 2018 SLP/SRP:

As announced earlier this week, the ODNR discount certificate for camping at Ohio State Parks is also available for public library use. At your library's discretion, any SLP/SRP participant of any age may receive a certificate for 50% off Sunday-Thursday camping and 10% off Friday-Saturday camping, good through October 31, 2018.

The certificates print 2 per page.  Please print or copy them on GREEN paper for distribution.  State Parks employees will only accept certificates on green paper, with library name and participant name included on the certificate.  You may write your library name onto your master before copying for distribution. The participant's name should be hand-written on the certificate. Please keep track of how many you distribute.

The deadline is approaching for public libraries to request discount coupons for the Ohio Renaissance Festival, held weekends from September 1 - October 28.

Any Ohio public library may distribute coupons for 50% off Ren Fest gate admission for SLP/SRP participants of any age, but you must request the coupons in advance, and Ren Fest will send them to you.  They will send any quantity you request.  To request coupons for your SLP/SRP participants, download the form here:

Complete the form and send it to Ren Fest via fax, email, or US Mail by April 13.  Your coupons will be shipped to you by May 31.
