Dear librarians,

My name is Meijuan Miao, a Ph.D. student majoring in Library Science at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Currently, I am conducting research on intergenerational programs/activities that libraries provide to increase interaction between older people and children/adolescent/young people in the era of aging, such as intergenerational reading/oral history/games/arts/tech-help and so on.

If your library has provided or is providing intergenerational programs, could you please provide a brief description of your intergenerational programs to me (meijuan at illinois.edu<mailto:meijuan at illinois.edu>), including, but not limited to, reasons and goals of your intergenerational programs, name, targeted audience/age groups, obstacles and favorable conditions to provide such programs, effects and future plan, etc. Thank you so much.

If your library does not provide intergenerational programs, could you please answer the following questions for me (meijuan at illinois.edu<mailto:meijuan at illinois.edu>)? Thank you so much.
$B-!(B Could you please explain the reason why not plan to provide such programs?

Best wishes,
Meijuan
