Don’t miss your chance to join other colleagues in your region and be part of this important conversation. Opioids in Communities, Libraries in Response events are taking place around Ohio:

· Monday, Aug. 6th at Bossard Memorial Library in Gallipolis

· Tuesday, Aug. 7th at Sinclair Community College Conference Center in Dayton

· Wednesday, Aug. 8th at Owens Community College in Findlay

· Thursday, Aug. 9th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg
Bracketed by a keynote from author Sam Quinones (author of DREAMLAND: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic) and a closing presentation from Dr. Meghan Harper (Libraries Lending Hope), each day-long event will also feature local perspectives and resources. We hope to provide an opportunity for education, discussion, listening, and learning centered around the opioid epidemic and the role that libraries can play in response to it.

The cost is $45 and includes a light breakfast and a buffet lunch. #LibrariesRespond
