Upgraded Memberships
The following libraries have upgraded their memberships.
Lorain Public Library System has upgraded from Silver to Gold.
Shaker Heights Public Library has upgraded from Bronze to Gold.
Willoughby-Eastlake Public Library has upgraded from Bronze to Silver .  It is never too late to join or to upgrade your membership.
E-Rate
It's now time to register for the Fall FY2020 E-rate (Basics/Updates) and Form 470 workshop. This workshop has both a face-to-face and webinar component. In this workshop Lorrie Germann, State E-rate Coordinator, will cover changes to E-rate and a line by line review of the Form 470. Plan on attending to make sure you have the most up-to-date information.

This public library-specific session is scheduled for Monday, October 28.

9am-12pm: Overview of the E-rate process and upcoming changes for this funding year
12pm-1pm : Lunch break
1pm-3pm: Line-by-line review of Form 470, the first step in the application process

We realize that Summer Reading has ended in most of your libraries.  However, Summer Reading is just beginning for NEO-RLS.  We are beginning to plan for next year's summer reading programs, adult, children, and teen and we want your input.  Please consider serving on a summer reading committee.  The first meeting will be held after the  Annual Membership Meeting & Appreciation Breakfast at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Twinsburg. A Note from the Executive Director

[https://myneotoday.org/photos/35223_01302017091627.jpg]Believe it or not, it is once again time for our Annual Membership Meeting & Appreciation Breakfast!  The NEO-RLS Board of Trustees and the staff hope you will join us on September 17, 2019 at the Hilton Garden Inn, Twinsburg.  This year we hope to provide you with even more information about what is going on in the region and in the state and we invite your Trustees to attend as well.   Aside from the brief NEO-RLS yearly wrap-up and financial report, you will hear updates from the leadership of OhioLink, OhioNET, OPLIN, and the State Library of Ohio.  Additionally, Stephanie York, Vice President and In-House Counsel of Hennes Communications, will speak on a highly strategic approach to communicating during a wide variety of situations.  Celebrate this year’s Rising Star Award winner and give a round of applause to all who have shared their time and expertise over the past year by presenting workshops and webinars, serving on the Board, and serving on committees or on Advisory Boards.  Network with your colleagues over a wonderful breakfast beginning at 8:30 and then linger later to speak with our various guests.
