*In an effort to help answer some FAQs, OPLIN will periodically publish

"How do I link to databases?"

   1. *The authoritative list of database links for statewide databases *is
   here: https://www.oplin.ohio.gov/content/how-link-oplin-databases
   2. *DO NOT USE OTHER URLS* for other statewide databases! (Why? Because
   then you'll be asking another very common question: "Why doesn't this
   database link work?") These URLs are specially constructed so that you will
   not encounter issues that regularly occur when using other URLs.
   3. *That link in #1? It also lists specially-constructed URLs for many
   other databases* that your library/consortium may purchase, beyond those
   that are available statewide.
   4. *"But our new database isn't on that authoritative list!"* Fear not!
